Abstract:
To provide a sheet detector, sheet processor and image forming system capable of preventing the detection accuracy of a sheet end position from lowering and of correctly detecting a sheet position on a sheet loader.SOLUTION: A sheet detector 100, for detecting the position of a sheet P on a sheet loader 44, comprises light emitting means 102 that irradiates an end face P1 of a sheet P with light and light receiving means 101 that receives reflection light. By detecting the position of the end face P1 where brightness is greater than at a surface of the sheet P, the position of an end of the sheet P at which the end face lies is detected to detect the position of the sheet P on the sheet loader 44.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
