Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat capable of creating such a state that when an occupant is seated, air blown out from or sucked in a draft hole flows smoothly while contacting the body of the seating occupant, and also capable of hardly deteriorating appearance of the seating surface of a seat when the occupant is not seated.SOLUTION: A vehicle seat has: a seat pad 12 having a draft hole 26 comprising the opening 27A in which one end opens at a seating surface side; a seat cover 13 covering the opening 27A while being stretched; and a blower connected to the draft hole 26 and capable of blowing air out of the opening 27A. Further, the vehicle seat comprises a traction mechanism 60 which attracts toward backside, one end side 62B of a linear member 62 in which the other end side 62A is installed to a planar member 61 arranged on the seating surface side in the peripheral edge of the opening 27A of the seat pad 12 and deforms rearward, the peripheral edge of the opening 27A of the seat pad 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
