Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat capable of improving a seat performance by partially and sensitively differentiating the elongation characteristic of a seat cover which covers a seat pad elastically supporting an occupant.SOLUTION: In a vehicle seat, a face bar in which a seat cover 6S itself has flexibility is formed from a second area 20 and a first area 10 which has the same knitting composition as that of the second area and is made to easily extend compared to the second area 20 by difference in knitting density. Further, the low extension parts 30a to 30f hardly extending compared to the first and second areas 10 and 20 are partially provided on at least one of the front and rear faces of the seat cover 6S. Thereby, the portion of the second area 20 disposed on either side of the first area 10 becomes easy to extend in a nearly seat width direction orthogonal to a seat vertical direction, and is made to hardly extend in a nearly seat vertical direction being a direction in which the low extension parts 30a to 30f are continuously formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
