Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a curable compsn. which is excellent in heat resistance and has greatly improved vibrationproof, vibration-damping characteristics by using a hot-melt butyl and an oligomer having a specified number average mol.wt. and a hydrolyzable silyl group on the side chain and/or at the terminal of the main chain as the main ingredients.
SOLUTION: A hot-melt butyl and an oligomer (e.g. a compd. of formula II) which has a number average mol.wt. of 500-50,000 and at least one hydrolyzable silyl group of formula I per molecule on the side chain and/or at the terminal of the main chain and of which the main chain is a polyether, polyester, acrylic polymer, vinyl ether polymer, polycarbonate, polyisoprene, polyisobutylene, or polybutadiene chain are used as the main ingredients. In the formulas, R is H or 1-4C alkyl; X is a hydrolyzable group being OH, pref. H, alkoxy, acyloxy, ketoximate, amino, amido, aminoxy, mercapto, or alkenyloxy; and n is 0-2.
