Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a shift position detection device comprising at least three sensors configured to detect a position of a shift operator, which can continue pulling-over in a case where abnormality occurs in plural sensors.SOLUTION: Based on a shift range maintained by a drive device 40 in abnormality determination of shift sensors 64, 66, 68, 70, and a vehicle speed V or acceleration α of a vehicle, a shift range is selected, thereby avoiding a self-traveling impossible state due to switching to a neutral range by fail-safe, which in turn can maintain pulling-over.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
