Abstract:
To suppress the occurrence of confusion in an occupant when a drive support device of a vehicle is operated.SOLUTION: In a shift device 10, in such a state where a vehicle is operated in an automatic parking mode and a knob 16 is arranged at a P position, when a shift range of an automatic transmission is changed, lamps 50A-50D of an indicator 44 is turned on correspondingly to the shift range and the shift range of the automatic transmission is displayed. When the vehicle is operated in the automatic parking mode, a shift lock mechanism 24 restricts movement from the P position of the knob 16. Therefore, when the vehicle is operated in the automatic parking mode, an occupant can easily recognize that the operation of the knob 16 is restricted and suppress the occurrence of confusion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
