Abstract:
To compensate for changes in the results of detection of magnetic field intensity by the detection unit according to the temperature characteristics of the detection unit.SOLUTION: In a shift device, a knob is rotated to rotate a detection magnet, and a magnetic field sensor detects a detection magnetic field P at a detection position O. If the detection magnetic field P is (x0, y0, z0) and the gain of the magnetic field sensor is G, the results of detection of the detection magnetic field P by the magnetic field sensor (x1, y1, z1) are (Gx0, Gy0, Gz0), where z12/(x12+y12) is calculated.
