Abstract:
To provide a shifter capable of suppressing a possibility such that foreign materials enter an interior.SOLUTION: A shifter that includes a shift lever which is operated by a driver along at least a predetermined shifting direction in order to change a shift range selected by a transmission includes: a shift panel 2 provided with an opening 200 for allowing the shift lever placed to pass completely through so as to make the shift lever operable along the shifting direction; and a slide cover 3 which is in a substantially plate shape and which moves back and forth in conjunction with the operation to the shift lever along the shifting direction. In the surfaces of the slide cover 3, the surface at the side exposed to the opening 200 is provided with a convex protrusion 31 so as not to be exposed by the opening 200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
