Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a shift knob having a structure that enables a smooth pressing operation. [Solution] This shift knob (10) is provided with a detent rod (62) that protrudes from a lever shaft (60) for shift change and enables the lever shaft (60) to be operated by being pushed into the lever shaft (60), the shift knob being characterized by comprising: an operation unit (12) that has a tilt surface (18) that causes the detent rod (62) to be pushed into by receiving the push from a direction crossing the axial direction of the detent rod (62), and a coil spring (24) that is disposed on the reverse side from the detent rod (62) via the tilt surface (18) toward the pushing direction and pushes the tilt surface (18) against the detent rod (62); and a knob body (28) that has a slide region including the operation unit (12) in a slidable manner, a lever shaft attachment part (32), and a through-hole (32a) which is positioned on the extension line of the lever attachment part and through which the detent rod (62) is inserted into the slide region.
