Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic-transmission shift lock apparatus that allows the weight reduction of an overall apparatus and a cost reduction by reducing the number of components, thus simplifying the structure.SOLUTION: An automatic-transmission shift lock apparatus includes: a stopper 11 disposed freely shifting between a lock position and an unlocked position; return means 13 for energizing the stopper 11 toward the lock position from the unlocked position; and an actuator 12, linked to the stopper 11, for shifting the stopper 11 to the unlocked position from the lock position against the energizing force of the return means 13. Further, the stopper 11 of the apparatus is retained at a lock position by a balance between the energizing force of the return means 13 and a load exerted to the return means 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
