Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect occurrence of one turn short circuit in a rotary machine.SOLUTION: A diagnostic method comprises: a step (S100) of reading a load current Iu passing through an U-phase of a three-phase coil of a dynamo-electric motor 2; a step (S102) of storing the load current to a buffer for the load current; a step (S104) of performing a frequency analysis to the stored load current Iu; a step (S106) of reading an amplification value Ami corresponding to eleven predetermined frequencies Fri from a result of a FFT analysis; and a step (S108) of mapping eleven data on to a SOM for the short circuit diagnostic as eleven-dimensional characteristics and executing diagnostic of the presence/absence of occurrence of the short circuit depending on an arrangement place as eleven-dimensional characteristics. The eleven predetermined frequencies Fri is a frequency indicating a large amplitude value Ami when the short circuit occurs in one turn in compered with a case of a normal state without the occurrence of the short circuit. Thus, the occurrence of very little short circuit in one turn can be surely detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
