Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery short-circuit inspection method which can properly detect short-circuit of a secondary battery mounted on a vehicle.SOLUTION: A secondary battery short-circuit inspection method includes: a step S10 of acquiring an average discharge current value A of a secondary battery 21, a cumulative discharge current value B, a discharge time C, and a vehicle travel distance D, for one travel of a vehicle; a step S20 of dividing the cumulative discharge current value B by the discharge time to calculate a decision index F; a step of calculating determination values J11, J12... for each of past accumulated data L11, L12... of a reference matrix M1; and a step S100 of determining short circuit of the secondary battery 21 on the basis of a result of comparing the decision index F calculated in the current inspection with a determination value J32 corresponding to the average discharge current value A and the travel distance D obtained in the current inspection.
