Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade drive device and optical instrument including the blade drive device that realize a high output, and suppress increase in size.SOLUTION: A blade drive device comprises: a substrate 10 that has an aperture 11; a front curtain and a rear curtain that open/close the aperture 11; a first drive member 40a that drives the front curtain; a second drive member 40b that drives the rear curtain; a first actuator 70A that actuates the first drive member 40a; and a second actuator 70B that actuates the second drive member 40b. The first actuator 70A and the second actuator 70B extend so as to run along a first direction X crossing an axis direction of the aperture 11 on a principal surface of the substrate 10, and are arranged side by side in a second direction Y crossing the axis direction and the first direction X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
