Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side rail for a bed equipped with a standing assist device that enables stable operations of leaving a bed and sitting on a bed with a sense of security, and a bed equipped with the standing assist device using the same.SOLUTION: A standing assist device 21 is arranged facing an opening/closing part 9 of a side rail 6 of a bed. The standing assist device 21 includes a case frame 25, a lifting frame 26 attached so as to move in a vertical direction, and a lifting bar 24 provided to the lifting frame 26 rotatably. The lifting bar 24 is operated in a vertical direction by a linear actuator 22 driven by an electric motor. When a care-receiver 10 stands up from the bed, he or she receives the lifting bar 24 with his or her hands, arms, elbows, etc., supports the body by holding the lifting bar under his or her arms, and causes the standing assist device 21 to be operated in a standing direction. When the linear actuator 22 is operated, the lifting bar 24 rises, and the upper half of the body of the care-receiver 10 whose body is supported by the lifting bar 24 is raised and turns into a standing state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
