Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound that can enhance scratch resistance of a hard coat agent and the like and to provide a resin composition for a coating agent that includes the compound.SOLUTION: The silicon compound is a silicon compound (a) represented by formula (I) and in the formula, n is an integer of 1 to 20; X is a group having an urethane skeleton and a (meth)acrylate group at a terminal and represented by formula (II); and Ris hydrogen or a methyl group. The use of the silicon compound (a) with a curable resin can remarkably enhance scratch resistance which is supposed to be effected by stress relaxation.
