Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, since a silver-cerium oxide complex containing silver particles and cerium oxide coated on the surface of the silver particles is synthesized in multistep process hitherto, use of an organic solvent and a surfactant is required, and time and cost are required, and further fulminating silver may be generated to thereby generate a safety problem.SOLUTION: There is provided a production method of a catalyst carried on an alkaline carrier, and comprising a silver-cerium oxide complex containing silver particles and cerium oxide coated on the surface of the silver particles, and obtained by drying mixed liquid formed by inputting a silver compound, a cerium compound and the alkaline carrier.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
