Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a new silver-histidine polynuclear complex, by which the silver-histidine polynuclear complex excellent in both stability and antibacterial property can industrially advantageously be produced.
The method for producing the silver-histidine polynuclear complex comprises dissolving the silver compound and histidine in water in a rate of 1 to 5 pts.mol of the histidine per pt.mol of the silver ions, heating the aqueous solution at 30 to 70°C to obtain the deposition mixture solution, separating the deposition mixture solution into the solid phase and the liquid phase, and then drying the solid phase.
