Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid throughput from deteriorating and to improve impartiality and stability of band assignment between connections by discriminating missing of a missing data packet that has been resent, in response to the reception of a duplicate Ack packet and retransimitting the missing data packet. SOLUTION: A layer 4 processing section 12 is provided with an after retransmission duplicate Ack counter that counts duplicate Ack packets received after retransimission of a missing DT packet and with a retransmission missing discrimination number that is used to discriminate re-missing of the retransmitted missing DT packet. Then a new DT packet sent after the retransmitted missing DT packet is regarded as a retransmission discrimination DT packet, and when that retransmission discrimination DT packet is received by an opposite party but the transmittal of the retransmitted missing DT packet has not yet been confirmed, it is discriminated that the missing DT packet is missing again. Thus, the occurrence of missing of the retransmitted missing DT packet is accurately detected and the packet is sent again.
