CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal 12 with a microphone (46) and a loud speaker (48), etc., is stored in a pocket (26) of a sleep management device 10. Also, in a state where the sleep management device 10 is embraced, the above microphone and loud speaker are brought into a close state with an ear and lip of a user. In such a state, for example, when the content of a lullaby is reproduced by the mobile terminal 12, the voice of the lullaby is output at the ear of the user. Also, the respiratory sound of the user is collected by the microphone, and a respiration rate per unit time is detected from the collected respiratory sound. Then, when the respiration rate becomes less than a threshold value and a decision is made to have fallen asleep, the outputted sound volume is reduced.EFFECT: A user actually feels heeling by embracing a hug body and can calmly hear a voice, so that the user can fall asleep easily.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
