Abstract:
To provide sleeves for die casting used in a state where each axial direction is made into almost horizontal, in which deformation at which edge parts are warped up is suppressed.SOLUTION: Sleeves 1, 2, 3 for die casting each comprises a cylindrical part; and a molten metal injection hole 30 passing though a part of the side circumferential wall of the cylindrical part, communicates the front edge E1 to a cavity in a state where an axial direction is made almost horizontal, and further, a plunger tip is approached from a rear edge E2. Each cylindrical part includes: an external cylinder 20; and an internal cylinder 10 engaged to the external cylinder. The internal cylinder includes: an upper wall part 11 formed of a first material at least from the peripheral edge part of the molten metal injection part to the rear edge and a lower wall part 12 formed of a second material at least from the part UN directly below the molten metal injection hole to the rear edge, and the second material has a thermal expansion coefficient smaller than that of the first material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
