Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a slider and a slide device having improved ease of assembly. [Solution] A slider 100 is provided with a first support member 110, a second support member 120, rollers 150, and a plurality of spherical rolling bodies 141, 142. In at least one surface from among the inner surface 111 of the first support member facing the rollers and the top surface 151 of the rollers facing the first support member, annular first grooves 115, 155 are formed for retaining the plurality of spherical rolling bodies in a manner enabling the bodies to circulate. In at least one surface from among the inner surface 121 of the second support member facing the rollers and the bottom surface 152 of the rollers facing the second support member, annular second grooves 125, 156 are formed for retaining the plurality of spherical rolling bodies in a manner enabling the bodies to circulate. In a cross section along the direction in which the first support member and second support member are mutually facing, the first grooves and the second grooves have a recessed shape into which the rolling bodies can be placed.
