Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove seedling soil by forcedly retreating a seedling taking out tine by using carry-in kinetic energy, surely return the seedling taking out tine at a seedling transferring position to keep the motion focus of the tine constantly, perform seedling transfer in a transplanter under these conditions and improve the activity and growth of the seedlings after transplantation.
SOLUTION: At a terminal region where seedling soil C is carried up to above the transplanting cylinder in a state stuck by a seedling taking out tine 5 whose forcedly retreating position is freely adjustable, the seedling taking out tine 56 is forcedly retreated by using a carry-in kinetic energy, and the seedling soil C is removed. Further, the method is preferably applied to a seedling transferring apparatus in a transplanter which is provided with a stopper 44A at a terminal region above the transplanting cylinder where the seedling soil C is carried up and provided with a returning means 66B for forcedly returning the seedling taking out tine 56 by colliding against the stopper 44A.
