Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw for a solid fuel supply device of a solid fuel boiler suitable for charging and transporting a solid fuel such as wood chips having irregular particle size and shape.SOLUTION: In a screw for a solid fuel supply device of a solid fuel boiler, the screw includes a screw body and a helical screw wing portion fixed to the screw body. The screw wing portion is composed of a number of blades divided from each other in a longitudinal direction of the screw body. In the plurality of blades, when assuming a divided face bisects the screw body in the longitudinal direction, blades swirling upward along an outer periphery of the screw body at an upper part of the divided face, and blades swirling downward along the outer periphery of the screw body at a lower part of the divided face are alternately arranged while separated from each other, and a separating distance is determined according to properties of the solid fuel to be supplied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
