Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently sorting and recovering ferromagnetic metal powder contained in metal dust in a dry state without using drying equipment.SOLUTION: In a method of sorting and recovering ferromagnetic metal powder from metal dust which contains the ferromagnetic metal powder and moisture, the metal dust is extended in an outdoor yard, an extention layer of the metal dust is formed, and is naturally dried. Then, an electromagnet is swept on an upper surface of the extension layer of the metal dust to attract the ferromagnetic metal powder only on a surface layer of the extension layer to the electromagnet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
