Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance capable of handling wave form data of a high capacity in addition to having less uncomfortable feeling due to a break of pronunciation or the like even when the reading of waveform data is not in time.SOLUTION: Wave form data is stored in a cache region 49B by performing a look-ahead reading of a MIDI command which a second synthesizer 72 receives before a first synthesizer 71. The first synthesizer 71 reads the wave form data stored by the look-ahead reading from the cache region 49B, and synthesizes musical sound signals (PCM data) for the musical piece performance based on the MIDI command read from the ring buffer 49A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
