Abstract:
To provide a noise-proof type tamping rammer capable of suitably avoiding the damage of a muffler due to vibration and external force during the operation of the rammer and adopting the muffler of proper performance, weight, and cost corresponding to an engine displacement.SOLUTION: In a noise-proof type tamping rammer, a noise-suppressing muffler 3 is fixed to a lower side of an engine block 2, and a protective cover 1 composed of an adapter 11 covering an upper half part of the noise-suppressing muffler 3 and a bracket 31 covering a lower half part of the noise-suppressing muffler 3 is provided; the adapter 11 is configured to be fixed to the lower side of the engine block 2, the bracket 31 is configured to be fixed to the lower side of the adapter 11, and the noise-suppressing muffler 3 is configured to be held between the adapter 11 and the bracket 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
