Title:
Method for inducing differentiation of induced pluripotent stem cells
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6363401
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inducing differentiation of endodermal cells from stem cells efficiently and stably.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a method for inducing differentiation of endodermal cells from induced pluripotent stem cells, the method comprising preparing a cell culture substrate having a substrate, two or more isolated cell adhesion domains and cell non-adhesion domains surrounding each cell adhesion domain formed on the substrate; seeding induced pluripotent stem cells on the cell culture substrate; and culturing the seeded induced pluripotent stem cells in a culture medium. In the differentiation inducing method, the cell non-adhesion domains on the cell culture substrate are formed by immobilizing polyethylene glycol on the substrate, the cell adhesion domains are formed by oxidizing and/or degrading at least one part of polyethylene glycol immobilized on the substrate, and the area of each cell adhesion domain is less than 0.785 mm.
