Abstract:
To obtain a speed estimation device which can estimate a speed of a moving object appropriately and stably with quick reaction in accordance with situations by estimating the speed more sensitively in the case of the speed being varying and estimating the speed hardly varied from a current estimation speed in the case of the speed being stable.SOLUTION: A speed estimation device 1 of this invention includes: an object detection unit 10 which detects a moving object; a measurement error adjustment unit 20 which adjusts a measurement error of a measurement of the moving object detected by the object detection unit 10; an estimation error adjustment unit 30 which adjusts an estimation error of an estimated speed of the moving object detected by the object detection unit 10; and a speed estimation unit 40 which estimates a speed of the moving object by using the measurement error adjusted by the measurement error adjustment unit 20 and the estimation error adjusted by the estimation error adjustment unit 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
