Abstract:
To provide a novel spherical crosslinked particle that can give a substrate water repellency by surface roughening effect.SOLUTION: A spherical crosslinked particle has an average particle size of 1 μm or more and a particle size dispersion (CV value) of 20% or less. The spherical crosslinked particle comprises a repeat unit derived from a hydrophobic monomer. The hydrophobic monomer is non-crosslinkable, with its homopolymer having a water contact angle of 90° or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
