Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral staircase that is easy to construct because the number of types of components and the number of the components are small, and also is light-weight.SOLUTION: A spiral staircase includes steps, each of which has a center column insertion hole formed on an end on the staircase center side, the steps being spirally arranged around an erected center column. Each step has handrail column insertion holes formed on a stair-nosing and stair-tail parts on an end on the staircase outer side. A handrail column insertion hole formed on a stair-nosing part on an end on the staircase outer side of a step positioned on the upper side and a handrail column insertion hole formed on a stair-tail part on an end on the staircase outer side of a step positioned on the lower side are arranged so that the holes overlap with each other; the adjacent two steps are held and fastened using two nuts screwed on a handrail column that is inserted into the two overlapping handrail column insertion holes and is erected. As a step of the spiral staircase, a foam body composed of a synthetic resin skin and a foam core material, a step including a plate-like part and a rib part, etc. can be used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
