Abstract:
In order to switch a state of a hydraulic machine between a first state where a hydraulic chamber (24) is in communication with a high pressure oil line (12) and a second state where a hydraulic chamber is in communication with a low pressure oil line (14), a first spool (38) includes a first pressure-receiving surface (42) formed so as to receive hydraulic pressure of a first chamber (34) and a second pressure-receiving surface (44) formed so as to receive hydraulic pressure of a second chamber (36), the second pressure-receiving surface having an area smaller than that of the first pressure-receiving surface. The first spool valve is configured to switch a communication state of the hydraulic chamber between the first state and the second state, by switching the hydraulic pressure of the first chamber between pressure in a high pressure oil line and first pressure which is lower than the pressure in the high pressure oil line while maintaining the hydraulic pressure in the second chamber at the pressure of the high pressure oil line, or by switching the hydraulic pressure of the second chamber between pressure in a low pressure oil line and second pressure which is higher than the low pressure oil line while maintaining the hydraulic pressure in the first chamber at the pressure of the low pressure oil line.
