Abstract:

To provide a method for stably producing silage, that smoothly carryout lactic acid fermentation while inhibiting increase of butyric acid bacteria by applying a large amount of additives while using additives containing little sugar, and getting a head start on effective utilization of used tea leaves and the like conventionally discharged and wasted in large quantities so that excellent effect is brought on environmental conservation.

The method for stable producing silage comprises the following process: adding, as silage additives, at least one selected from trees, stalks, residues after picking leaves, tea leaves, tea dregs, residues caused after clarifying or filtering tea extract each of green tea, black tea, oolong tea, puerh tea, or Kannon tea to raw material for silage to subject the resultant mixture to anaerobic fermentation.
