Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an origin detector which can automate frequent origin adjustment works without stopping production by instrumentation of an origin adjustment work, and a coating applicator comprising the same.SOLUTION: An origin detector for detecting an origin position in a height direction of a stage and an applicator comprises a height sensor which detects a height position, and a leveling unit which supplies a height position of the stage to the height sensor. The leveling unit has: a reference block part along a stage surface of the stage which faces a base plate; an elevation driving part which elevates the reference block part; and a pressing part which presses the reference block part, which is positioned along the stage surface, against the stage surface thereby fixing the reference block part. The height sensor is brought into contact with the reference block part in the state that the reference block part is pressed by the pressing part, and consequently, an origin position in a height direction of the stage and the applicator can be detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
