Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator which prevents insulating paper installed in a slot from being damaged, and a rotary electric machine which includes the stator to have improved insulating performance.SOLUTION: The stator of the rotary electric machine includes a cylindrical stator core, and stator winding 240 installed in a plurality of slots 236 formed on an inner peripheral side of the stator core with insulating paper (slot liner 247) interposed, the plurality of slots 236 each have a narrow first conductor storage part 236a on an inner peripheral side and a wide second conductor storage part 236b on an outer peripheral side which is connected to the first conductor storage part 236a by an inclined wall 237, and the stator winding 240 includes a first coil conductor 241 inserted into the first conductor storage part 236a and a second coil conductor 241 inserted into the second conductor storage part 236b.
