Abstract:
To provide a steel construction building capable of sufficiently suppressing shaking even in strong wind.SOLUTION: In a steel construction building 10 provided with a base isolation device 20 and an active control type vibration damping device 31, the base isolation device 20 includes: a laminated rubber bearing 21; an oil damper 22 with a lock mechanism for opening and closing a pressure regulating valve 84 to adjust damping force; and a control device 41 for operating a lock mechanism 24 of the oil damper 22 with a lock mechanism by wind information at the time of a strong wind to suppress deformation of a base isolation layer 16 of the steel construction building 10 provided with the base isolation device 20, and driving the vibration damping device 31 to reduce shaking of the steel construction building 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
