Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce the weight of one layer of a main housing in a steering device of a vehicle with an electric tilt mechanism.SOLUTION: A steering device of a vehicle includes: a link mechanism LM which is oscillatably supported around each first and second pivot shaft P1 and P2 orthogonal to a shaft of a steering shaft 4 with respect to a fixed bracket 1 and a main housing 2; and an electric tilt mechanism MT which drives the link mechanism and adjusts the steering shaft at a desired inclination angle. At least two bearing members B1 and B2 are interposed between the main housing and a movable column member 3 stored in the main housing. A part of the bearing member (B2) on the steering wheel W side is arranged to be located within a surface which includes the second pivot shaft and is orthogonal to the shaft of the steering shaft (a surface which includes PB and is perpendicular to a paper surface).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
