Abstract:
To provide a steering device that can reduce the possibility of contact of the body of a driver with a steering wheel even when a vehicle collides and that does not allow the driver to easily perform an intentional steering operation.SOLUTION: A steering device 100 includes: a steering wheel 101 for steering a vehicle; acquisition means configured to acquire collision information which is information on a collision that has occurred against the vehicle or information on an estimation of a collision; and restriction means configured to restrict the position of the steering wheel when the acquisition means receives the collision information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
