Abstract:
To provide a stepping motor driving device and a stepping motor driving method capable of realizing high speed driving while suppressing heat generation and vibration of a stepping motor.SOLUTION: A stepping motor driving device 10 includes: a pulse generating section 21 for generating a pulse signal for driving control of a stepping motor 7; and a current control section 22 that changes a first current IA to be supplied to a first coil 13A of the stepping motor 7 and changes a second current IB to be supplied to a second coil 13B of the stepping motor 7 while driving the stepping motor 7 by a basic step angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
