Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-precision detection of abnormality such as loss of synchronism, driving failure, etc. of a stepping motor.SOLUTION: A stepping motor driving device supplies a driving signal to a stepping motor 101. The stepping motor has rotation detecting means 101a, 104b, 105 for outputting a detection signal according to rotation of the stepping motor, rotation speed calculation means 106 for calculating the rotation speed of the stepping motor by using the detection signal, advance angle setting means 108 for setting an advance angle as the phase difference of a driving signal from the detection signal on the basis of the speed deviation corresponding to the difference between the rotation speed and a target speed, storage means 114 for storing an upper limit advance angle as the upper limit value of the advance angle, and driving control means 115 for performing first control for generating a driving signal on the basis of the advance angle set by the advance angle control means. The driving control means performs second control different from the first control when the speed deviation is equal to a predetermined deviation or more and the advance angle reaches the upper limit advance angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
