Abstract:
An electron beam sterilization device comprises: an electron beam emitter (1) which includes an electron beam generator which is provided inside a vacuum housing (2) for generating electron beams, an exit window (3) which is provided on the vacuum housing (2) for emitting the electron beam generated by the electron beam generator outside the vacuum housing, and a film (4) which transmits the electron beam and is provided so as to cover the exit window (3) to maintain a vacuum inside the vacuum housing (2); a sterile container which houses the electron beam emitter (1); and a shielding mechanism for shielding and protecting the film (4) from sterilization gas when the sterile container is cleaned with the sterilization gas. The shielding mechanism comprises: a frame (5) which circumscribes the exit window (3); a shield (6) which is capable of opening and closing the part circumscribed by the frame (5); and a pressing device (11) which when closing the frame (5) with the shield (6), presses the shield (6) against the frame (5) to seal a void space (10) in order to shield the film (4) from the sterilization gas.
