Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery device capable of achieving a reduction in size, and a railway vehicle.SOLUTION: A storage battery device 1 includes a battery module 4, a housing 2, and a fixing member 3. The housing has a placement shelf 26 on which the battery module is placed. Into the housing, the battery module can be inserted and pulled-out through an opening for work 21a opened toward one side in a first direction. The battery module has leg portions 53a and 53b protruding toward the other side in the first direction. The fixing member has engagement portions engaging with the leg portions in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The leg portions are formed such that lengths in the second direction are reduced as they go from one side to the other side in the first direction, and leg portion engagement surfaces 61 directed to one side in the second direction in the leg portions are formed into inclined surfaces. Fixing member engagement surfaces 30a directed to the other side in the second direction in the engagement portions are formed into inclined surfaces inclined following the leg portion engagement surfaces. The leg portion engagement surfaces and the fixing member engagement surfaces are brought into contact with one another, and the leg portions and the engagement portions engage with one another.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
