Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printer capable of overlapping two labels together to easily attach or peel an upper face label.SOLUTION: A tape printer includes: a ROM 41 which is considered as format data storage means for storing first format data and second format data; format selection means for selecting the desired first format data and/or second format data; data input means for inputting first data such as characters and symbols to be printed on first printing tape and/or second data such as characters and symbols to be printed on second printing tape; and a control part 40 which prints the first data and/or the second data on the first printing tape and/or the second printing tape to create a first label and/or a second label, in which the control part 40 detects that the second printing tape is tape to which weak adhesion adhesives are applied or self-adhesive tape to execute printing of the second label.
