Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing container for a flywheel power storage device capable of making reduction of production cost of the housing container compatible with safety measures to deal with unexpected situations.SOLUTION: A housing container for a flywheel power storage device is configured by integrating a high-strength/high-heat-resistance composite material consisting of an aramid fiber cloth layer containing a polymer of paraphenylene diamine and terephthalic acid chloride as a main component, fine particles containing SiC as a main component and an epoxy resin with a metal base. A particle diameter of the particle containing Sic as the main component ranges from 5 μm to 10 μm, and its percentage content ranges from 5wt% to 40wt%.
