Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding assisting tool that does not require a complicated step so that even a child and a weak person can wind a simple string straight around and then tightly and securely bind old newspapers, leaflets, used books, corrugated boards and others, which can solve the problem that it requires a string to be wound around plural times for old newspapers, leaflets, used books, corrugated boards and others, which are stacked and packed, to be securely packed and be prevented from deviating and loosening.SOLUTION: A binding assisting tool 1 is formed in a shape such as an elliptical shape and a polygonal shape using hard plate-like materials, whose outer edge is formed thinly in an acute angle so that the tool can easily pass under a string hung over stacked objects straight, in which a cone-shape hole 2 is formed at the center thereof. At the center of the hole is made a small hole 6 through which the string can be passed, and is provided a vertical string introducing path 5 extended from the hole toward an outer edge below the hole, in which a T-shape string introducing path 4 is provided from side and a cutter 3 is attached to the path. In the tool is naturally formed a handle for making the string form a circle, folding the circle in halves and doubling the circle, hooking a knot on one circle on the center of the cone-shape hole, passing the knot through the other circle of the string, pulling and fastening the knot, and moving the knot after packing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
