Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the crossectional rigidity of an FRP structural member by filling a cavity or a recessed part in a coated material with the cavity or the recessed part consisting of a fiber-reinforced synthetic resin material with a mortar or a concrete filler. SOLUTION: A coated material 11 which constitutes a beam member 101 is a member of fiber-reinforced rigid resin formed in a near T-shape hollow cylinder. The coated material 11 is, for example, manufactured by a drawing method. That is, a stack of filament 11b, mats 11c, 11d and protecting materials 11e, 11f is impregnated with a liquid thermosetting resin materix 11a, and this laminate is drawn into a mold and the matrix 11a is thermally set. A hollow cylindrical coated material 11 is molded by continuously drawing the coated material 11 from the mold by a puller under a state in which the matrix is thermally set. A filler 12 is packed into an almost T-shape cavity formed in the coated material 11, and is mortar such as light-weight concrete or a concrete filler blended so that it is unshrinkable.
