Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a suspension capable of preventing deformation and damage of an insulating layer.SOLUTION: A substrate 1 for a suspension according to the present invention includes a metal support layer 20, an insulating layer 10 provided on the metal support layer 20, and a wiring layer 40 provided on the insulating layer 10. The insulating layer 10 includes insulating edge parts 11a and 11b arranged above the metal support layer 20. The metal support layer 20 is provided with upper metal reinforcement parts 70a and 70b covering the insulating edge parts 11a and 11b on a surface on an insulating layer 10 side thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
