Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suck evaporated fuel and a blow-by gas into an intake passage even if constant negative pressure is scarcely generated in the intake passage.SOLUTION: An intake device of an internal combustion engine comprises: a discharge passage 25 which discharges evaporated fuel in a fuel tank 22 and a blow-by gas in a crankcase 1 into an intake passage of the internal combustion engine; and a variable valve mechanism which can change the valve-opening timing of an intake valve. The discharge passage is constituted so as to communicate with an intake port 8. In the valve-opening timing of the intake valve, when it is required that the evaporated fuel or the blow-by gas is discharged to the intake passage via the discharge passage, the valve-opening timing of the intake valve is retarded more than a valve-closing timing of an exhaust valve, and a crank angle difference from an intake top dead point of the valve-opening timing of the intake valve is set so as to be larger than a crank angle difference from an intake top dead point of the valve-closing timing of the exhaust valve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
