Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism that openably/closably covers an opening part of a lens hood with one sheet of a barrier member, can cover even an opening part of a sensor unit in a state where the barrier member is closed, and can shorten an entire length in an optical axis of the lens hood even in a state where the barrier member is opened.SOLUTION: A lens hood comprises: a barrier member 110 that is rotatably provided in a direction where an opening part 109a is opened/closed, and covers the opening part 109a in a state where the opening part is closed to protect an imaging lens 103; an opening part 113 that is formed at a position corresponding to a sensor unit provided outwardly in a radial direction of the imaging lens 103; an operation member 111 that causes the barrier member 110 to operatively rotate in an opening/closing direction; and a shield unit 208 that moves in conjunction to an operation of the operation unit 111. When the operation of the operation member 111 causes the barrier member 110 to rotate to a position where th opening part 109a is closed, the shield unit 208 moves to a position where the opening part 113 is shielded, and when the operation of the operation member 111 causes the barrier member 110 to rotate to a position where the opening part 109a is opened, the shield unit 208 moves to a position where the shield part retreats from the opening part 113.
