Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system of a passenger conveyor and a monitoring method of the passenger conveyor for performing eligible control for accident prevention countermeasures by grasping the use state of users in detail.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the monitoring system of a passenger conveyor includes a plurality of camera devices for photographing different places in a passenger conveyor, an imaging information analysis part and a control part. The imaging information analysis part analyzes imaging information generated by the plurality of camera devices, and specifies corresponding state identification information on detecting that there is a state having the possibility of inducing an abnormal condition of the passenger conveyor from imaging information photographed by a corresponding imaging camera device. The control part controls the operation of an apparatus in the passenger conveyor corresponding to the specified state identification information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
