To provide a support device for a shelf board in storage furniture which readily attaches/detaches and safely slides backward/forward a shelf board mounted to a box body.

The support device includes fixed side rails 4 fixed on the inner wall surfaces of left and right side panels 2 in the box body 1 having an opening on the front side, and sliding side rails 5 fixed on the left and right sides of the shelf board 9. The front and rear ends of the fixed side rail 4 are formed with projections 6 fitting into front and rear small holes 3 provided in the inner wall surfaces of the left and right side panels 2, and the base parts of the projections 6 are formed with protruding portions 8 protruding in a direction separating from the inner wall surfaces of the left and right side panels 2. The sliding side rails 5 are provided with fixing portions to the left and right sides of the shelf board 9, and formed with grooves 11 inserted into the fixing side rails 4, from the rear end to the front end on the outside. The rear part of the groove 11 is provided with a protruding resilient member 12 so as to project and retract.
